We are a small group of men and women, married and single, who enjoy the writings of C.S. Lewis.

The group meets Tuesdays in Room 112 at the Troy campus and is led by Curtis Hays and Melissa Walsh. From January 24 to March 28, the group will examine The Screwtape Letters — Lewis’ unconventional fictional work addressing human nature and its interaction with the supernatural. The “letters” are of a demon — an undersecretary in the Lowerarchy of Hell — imparting wicked wisdom to his protege. Lewis’ wit and candor come through vibrantly, causing readers to both squirm and grin as they imagine with Lewis the subtle ways evil might penetrate hearts and consume relationships. Our group will gain a more vivid understanding of how evil is aggressively at work in our daily lives to divert us from a relationship with God.
